Reviews and Ratings
The Kakiang Bungalows provided a delightful stay with clean and spacious rooms, along with an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The location was very convenient, particularly for those visiting the Yoga Barn. However, the dining experience could use some improvement as the breakfast options were limited and not quite as satisfying as expected. Overall, a nice spot for those looking to relax and enjoy Ubud.
Our stay had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious and clean, but some issues with maintenance were frustrating. The service was commendable as the staff went above and beyond to assist us. The location was decent but not remarkable, especially since the breakfast options left a lot to be desired. Overall, a solid place but not without its quirks.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, thanks to its cozy setting and clean accommodations. The location was handy for exploring Ubud, and the staff were polite and eager to help, though communication could be tricky sometimes. However, the bathroom had some issues, particularly with the cold water, and Wi-Fi was spotty in the rooms, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, it’s a decent place for a short visit but might not be ideal for an extended stay.
Staying at Kakiang Bungalows felt like a mini paradise for us, especially since it was our honeymoon. The staff made our experience unforgettable with lovely touches like rose petals in our room. The breakfasts served on our terrace were delightful, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. On the downside, the food quality at their new restaurant left something to be desired, as we found some dishes unusual or lacking in flavor. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to return.
I booked two villas thinking they would accommodate five people, but they only fit four comfortably, which was frustrating since I was happy to pay extra for an additional guest's breakfast. The breakfast itself was a highlight, with fresh baked goods that exceeded expectations. The rooms were comfortable, but there were some challenges with staff inflexibility that dampened the experience.
